ET Real Estate Conclave 2026

Vijay Agrawal, Sector Head- Infrastructure, Equirus Capital, shared his insights as a Speaker at the 5th Edition of the ET Realty Real Estate Conclave 2026.

Vijay shared his insights on the growth of REITs in the country, outlining the significant opportunity ahead. He projected that REIT AUM could grow from approximately ₹2 lakh crore to ₹15 lakh crore by 2030, reflecting the increasing depth and maturity of India’s real estate investment landscape.

He also noted that India is likely to witness the emergence of multiple-asset REITs - including hospitals, railway stations, airports and other infrastructure assets in addition to office buildings and retail malls.

The discussion reinforced the strong growth trajectory and transformative potential of REITs in India’s capital markets ecosystem.
